The Festival of the Trees: Nature Blog Carnival

A worldwide celebration of forests

Leafy brainchild of Dave Bonta and Pablo Roundrocker, the Festival of the Trees was a monthly blog carnival that ran from 2006 to 2011 celebrating trees and forests with bloggers around the world. Jade hosted several editions of the Festival at her blog Arboreality before she was invited to help coordinate the project through editorial, community outreach, volunteer organizing, theme planning, submission gathering, and guidance for Festival hosts. The Festival final edition #66 was hosted Dec. 1, 2011 at treeblogging.com, which retains a complete index of collected tree blog treasures.
